The Core i5-13400F priced at $215

If there is no surprise, Intel will bring the 13th generation Core mobile processor and the 13th generation Core desktop non-K processor to CES 2023. In fact, the parameters of the 13th generation of non-K processors are almost leaked, and some people have released benchmarks for the Core i5-13400 processor. The performance is much better than the Core i5-12400, slightly lower than the Core i5-12600K. This processor is now on the shelves of a major retailer in the United States, and the price is much higher than the previous generation.

ShopBLT has listed Core i5-13400 and Core i5-13400F. The former has integrated graphics and the latter does not. Both have 6 P-Cores and 4 E-Cores, 20MB L3 cache, the base frequency of the P-Core is 2.5GHz, and the highest turbo frequency is 4.6GHz. Compared with Core i5-12400, Core i5-13400 not only has 4 more E-Cores but also slightly increases L3 cache capacity and maximum frequency.

According to the price listed on retail, the Core i5-13400 sells for $242, while the Core i5-13400F costs $215, a 23% and 26% increase from the previous generation, respectively. This price increase is actually understandable. After all, the specifications of the processor have improved a lot. In terms of performance, according to the leaked test before, the multi-thread performance has increased by 28%, and the single-thread performance has increased by 7%.

In addition to the Core i5-13400, Intel also has Core i9-13900, Core i7-13700, Core i5-13600, Core i5-13600, and Core i3-13100. Basically, they will all be launched at CES 2023.
