Synology releases SNV3400 and 3500 for high traffic volume database storage
Synology has recently launched its own brand of SSD solid-state drives. According to Synology’s official website, these solid-state drives have been specifically optimized for Synology NAS devices.
These SSDs are marked as enterprise-grade SSDs after a long-term load test and are especially suitable for enterprises to use these SSDs in virtualized load scenarios.
In terms of type, the Synology SSD is divided into SATA version and M.2 version, but the reading and writing speed of the hard disk is relatively strange because the writing speed is relatively low.
It is unclear why the difference between reading and writing speeds is so large.
Synology stated on its official website that these SSDs are specifically built for Synology systems, which can provide stable I/O performance while reducing the latency of critical services and applications.
Optimized to handle mixed and intensive 7/24-hour workloads, even under long-term workloads without affecting its stability and improving equipment performance.
Synology claims that these solid-state drives can provide high performance in harsh environments, such as online transaction processing databases and virtualized deployments, which can provide stable high performance.
Make it easier for customers to modernize existing storage infrastructure while providing end-to-end data protection to ensure data integrity and consistency.
