Stray is coming to the Xbox platform on August 10 this year

Stray, a third-person adventure game featuring a cat protagonist, received copious acclaim from numerous players upon its release last year and was momentarily the highest-rated game on the Steam platform in 2022. Many gaming media outlets bestowed Stray with exceedingly high ratings, commending its high degree of completion, distinctive viewpoint, stylistic flair, and meticulously designed details. Some analysts have suggested that the performance of this independent game is nearing the figures typically seen in AAA games.

As reported by Wccftech, Stray is set to make its debut on Microsoft’s Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on August 10th of this year, enabling a broader audience to experience the allure of this independent game. Prior to this, “Stray” catered to the PC and PlayStation 4/5 platforms, and its debut on PlayStation Plus triggered a substantial increase in Sony’s subscription services. Statistical data revealed that “Stray” boasted the highest number of players among all games offered by PlayStation Plus.

Crafted by BlueTwelve Studio, based in the south of France, and distributed by Annapurna Interactive, Stray was released on July 19, 2022. Rumors suggest Sony enjoyed a one-year exclusivity period for the game console platform, and Microsoft’s console gamers will have to wait until this summer.

Stray unfolds in an increasingly dilapidated cyber city, replete with meticulously depicted, neon-lit alleyways and a grimy, gloomy underbelly. Players assume the role of a stray cat lost in the cyber city, viewing the world through its eyes, interacting with the environment in playful ways, wandering through varying heights, warding off unforeseeable threats, exploring this district, endeavoring to solve an ancient riddle to escape, and find the path home.
