Statistics show that Windows 11 market share has grown to 9%

Microsoft officially launched the Windows 11 version on October 5, 2021. It is worth noting that Windows 11 seems to be more popular with users than we thought.

AdDuplex shows that in all versions of Windows, the official version of Windows 11 has a market share of 8.6%, and the beta version has a market share of 0.3%.

In other words, the overall share of Windows 11 has reached 8.9%, which is much faster than the growth rate when the major version of Windows 10 was released.

At present, the most popular version is Windows 10 21H1 with a market share of 36.3%, and the just-launched 21H2 only has a market share of 3.7%.

The market share of Windows 10 20H2 reached 31.8%, and the total market share of all versions of Windows 10 20H1 and above reached 91.7%.

This means that there are still about 9% of users who are still using unsupported versions. It is worth noting that Windows 10 20H1 will expire this month and users need to upgrade.

The old version after the expiration will no longer receive cumulative updates and security updates, which means that neither functional errors nor security issues will be fixed by Microsoft.
