Sony Interactive Entertainment to launch PlayStation 6 sometime after 2026
While resisting Microsoft’s takeover of Blizzard, Sony Interactive Entertainment submitted a document to the UK’s antitrust regulator, which has now been made public.
In the document, Sony Interactive Entertainment stated that Microsoft only proposed to keep Blizzard games on the PlayStation platform until 2027. In a separate statement, Sony said Microsoft said Call of Duty would only remain on the PlayStation platform if it made sense.
Sony said that according to Microsoft’s current thinking when Sony Interactive Entertainment launches the next-generation PlayStation, it may not be able to get support for Call of Duty.
