Snapdragon SC8180X Plus appears in Geekbench data powered by Unknown Surface Pro
On the previous day, we reported that Qualcomm is developing a stronger ARM processor. We got the news that Qualcomm’s processor frequency is 3.15GHz. If you only look at this frequency, the performance is better than any previous Qualcomm. ARM processors are strong.
Today, we found data on a Surface device running an ARM processor we have never seen in Geekbench’s benchmark database (because Microsoft has always used OEMSR as the name of the test product, so we infer that this is a Surface device).
There is a slight error in the data here on Geekbench. The ARM processor is marked as an Intel Pentium processor. In addition to this, we tend to think that it is a brand new ARM processor, and its frequency (3.15GHz). The frequency of the Qualcomm Snapdragon SC8180X Plus we reported a few days ago is consistent.
Compared to the Snapdragon SC8180X, the Snapdragon SC8180X Plus is much faster. The frequency of the four large cores is 3.15GHz (8180X is 2.84GHz), the frequency of the four small cores is 1.8GHz, the GPU is Adreno 680, and the frequency is 718MHz.
It is expected that the device equipped with this processor will come out at the end of this year, but we are not sure whether the Surface Pro X2 will be equipped with this processor.
