Siemens has signed a partnership agreement with Nvidia to create an industrial metaverse

Siemens, which has previously cooperated with NVIDIA for Omniverse platform applications, will now further cooperate with NVIDIA in-depth. Through the combination of its Siemens Xcelerator platform and NVIDIA Omniverse platform, it is expected to create a more realistic digital twin and connect software-defined artificial intelligence systems from edge to cloud.
In this cooperation, by connecting the Siemens Xcelerator platform and NVIDIA Omniverse platform, using Siemens’ digital model that conforms to the laws of physics and NVIDIA’s artificial intelligence technology to create an industrial metaverse, allowing companies to make better decisions through digital twins.

According to NVIDIA’s instructions, through the application of more realistic digital twin technology, the industrial environment can make various configuration decisions through digital simulation. For example, planning the optimal production line configuration, greatly improving productivity, or further simulating and testing whether various decision-making arrangements will be problematic.

Through in-depth cooperation with Siemens, NVIDIA is expected to further promote the development of digital twin technology, and even promote larger-scale metaverse applications. At the same time, it can also help solve many engineering design problems in industrial development.
