Sandeep Poswal, General Manager and Head of New Computing Business at Samsung India said that the company decided to bring laptops to the Indian market after eight years due to consumer demand and feedback. He said, “We are entering the market in a big way to disrupt the way consumers are using [laptops], and hence our tagline is ‘the new way to PC’.”
In the Indian market, pricing is very critical, and the target customers of the Samsung Galaxy Book Go will be young people, and its price may be lower than 40,000 rupees (around $522).
