Samsung
announced that it will showcase a new generation of Micro LED products at ISE 2022 in Barcelona, Spain. This year Samsung will launch its 2022 The Wall TV (IWB) as an innovative modular Micro LED display that provides an immersive viewing experience in high resolution and extra-large size. It provides a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, supports HDR10/10+, a maximum brightness of 2000 nits, and can provide up to 4K 110 inches or 8K 220 inches. The new The Wall TVs offer 0.63 and 0.94 pixel pitches, with the 0.63 being the smallest pixel pitch in The Wall series.
“Micro LED technology is set to define the future of display innovation. From the luxury industry to hospitality and travel, the potential of Micro LED is endless in enabling businesses to achieve more,” said Hyesung Ha, Executive Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. “ISE is the largest show of its kind in the world and we are excited to unveil our expanded lineup of The Wall. The next-generation technology of The Wall will deliver benefits beyond expectations, transforming any business and unlocking new opportunities.”
In addition, the built-in Micro AI processor can support 20bit color depth, can instantly analyze the content of every second, and optimize the image display quality while removing noise. With Muti-View, The Wall TV can handle four dynamic signal sources on the same screen, Black Seal technology can create purer colors, and the applied ultra-low reflection film can minimize external light reflection. It is understood that the new The Wall TV is currently available for pre-orders worldwide.
In addition to IWB,
Samsung will also launch The Wall All-in-One, which will offer three models, 4K 146-inch, 2K 146-inch, and 2K 110-inch. It adopts a slim, frameless design, integrates the S-Box media playback module, and supports splicing. Its most innovative feature is the ease of installation, with pre-adjusted seams and a pre-installed frame kit that makes the whole process very simple. The new product has a display thickness of 49mm and an inline thickness of 59mm.
In addition, Samsung will showcase various new display products at ISE 2022, such as the outdoor display series, which can be used in electric vehicle charging stations. There’s also a brand new interactive whiteboard, the 2022 Samsung Flip Pro, which will be available in 75-inch and 85-inch models. It adds USB Type-C connectivity that supports 65W charging, industry-leading touch latency, and multi-touch capabilities, allowing up to 20 people to collaborate at the same time.
