Compared to the flagship model “Ultra”, the screen on the Tab S8 Plus is slightly smaller, perhaps 12.7 inches in size, with a resolution of 2800*1752. WinFuture says the tablet may come with a 10090mAh battery. As for the most basic Tab S8, it will obviously be the smallest model. It is rumored that it may be equipped with an 11-inch LTPS TFT screen with a resolution of 2560*1600 pixels and an 8000mAh battery. Both the Tab S8 and S8 Plus will have less optional memory and storage than the Ultra, up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
As for the CPUs used in these tablets, WinFutre speculates that each will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Adreno 730 GPU. The entire series will be equipped with a 13-megapixel and a 6-megapixel camera on the rear, and a 12-megapixel camera on the front.
There is no information on the pricing of the S8 tablet, but Appuals said earlier that the price of the S8 Ultra tablet with only WiFi may be between 1040 and 1060 euros, and the price of the S8 Plus with only WiFi will be around 880 to 900 euros. The most basic S8 will be between 680 and 700 euros.
As for when Samsung will release these new tablets, WinFuture expects Samsung to announce it at Samsung’s Unpacked event on February 8, or at MWC on February 28.
