Redmi gaming router AX5400 is on sale

On February 16, Redmi held its first press conference this year. Although not all models of the Redmi K50 series were launched, the Xiaomi Redmi K50 Gaming was also unveiled. In addition, another router product also appeared at the press conference. It is Redmi’s first gaming router AX5400, which has good highlights in terms of appearance design and connection speed.

The Redmi AX5400 router is different from daily router products in design. It is designed with formula racing elements and also supports custom lighting. Xiaomi said that Redmi Router AX5400 also has RGB lighting with 16 million colors. In terms of hardware configuration, the Redmi AX5400 router is equipped with a Qualcomm gaming-grade processor, with CPU dual-core 64-bit 1.0GHz + NPU single-core 1.0GHz, with 512MB of large memory, the four antennas of the router are also equipped with 6 independent signal amplifiers.

In terms of speed connection, the theoretical speed of the 5G band of the Redmi AX5400 router can reach 4804Mbps, the theoretical speed of the 2.4G band can reach 574Mbps, and the total wireless speed is 5378Mbps, which has reached the 5400 megabit level. Thanks to the enhanced version of WiFi 6, the Redmi AX5400 router can double the 5GHz bandwidth and increase the speed even more. This router also supports Mesh networking. Users do not need to switch manually when they walk around the house at will, and the device in their hand will automatically connect to the strongest signal. This function is also very convenient.  In addition, the Redmi AX5400 router is also equipped with 1 WAN 2.5G interface and 4 LAN 1G interfaces, one of which is an independent gaming network port.
Redmi Router AX5400 is priced at CNY 599. It will be available to purchase from Xiaomi’s official retailers in China.
