Qualcomm Snapdragon 895 benchmark results leaked
Some time ago, the specification information related to Qualcomm Snapdragon 895 has flowed out. This new generation of product code-named SM8450 will adopt the core of the Armv9 architecture. Each is a Kryo 780 Prime (Cortex-X2), three Kryo 780 Gold (Cortex-A710), and four Kryo 780 Silver (Cortex-A510). GPU is Adreno 730. VPU and DPU are Adreno 665 and Adreno 1195, respectively, to further improve machine learning capabilities and enhance security. At the same time, it is equipped with the Snapdragon X65 5G baseband, which provides a data transmission speed of up to 10Gbps, which is higher than the 7.5Gbps of the Snapdragon X60.
This leak also includes the preliminary benchmark test results of the Snapdragon 895. In Geekbench, the single-core benchmark score of the Snapdragon 895 is 1250 points and the multi-core benchmark score is 4000 points. If the Apple A14 Bionic is used as the comparison object, its single-core benchmark test score is 1596 points, and the multi-core benchmark test score is 4027 points. Although there is not much difference in multi-core performance, there is a certain gap in single-core performance. When Apple releases a new generation of iPhone 13 series mobile phones, A15 Bionic will follow. I believe the gap with Snapdragon 895 will be further widened.
Next, Qualcomm will also face the challenge of Samsung. The Exynos SoC with integrated RDNA 2 architecture GPU is already on the line. According to previous rumors, this product may be called Exynos 2200, and its GPU tuned by AMD will have very powerful performance, which is higher than all mobile phones currently on the market.
