Qualcomm is developing Snapdragon 8180X Plus for ARM PC with a frequency of 3.15 Ghz
Not long ago, Apple announced at WWDC that macOS will switch to the ARM platform. In fact, Microsoft has been quietly engaged in the work related to shifting Windows from the x86 platform to ARM for some years.
Qualcomm naturally wants to make money in the Windows 10 ARM devices market, so Qualcomm has maintained close cooperation with Microsoft in ARM PC, and even this relationship has made Intel jealous.
Recently, winfuture reported that Qualcomm is developing a new Snapdragon processor. This processor is stronger than the current Snapdragon 8180X and is named Snapdragon 8180X Plus.
Compared with the Snapdragon 8180X, the Snapdragon 8180X Plus is much faster. The frequency of the four large cores is 3.15GHz (8180X is 2.84GHz), the frequency of the four small cores is 1.8GHz, the GPU is Adreno 680, and the frequency is 718MHz.
It is reported that this document was signed in February this year, so it is estimated that we will see Windows computers equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8180X Plus processor soon.
