OpenAI to host first developer event OpenAI Devday in November

OpenAI has announced its inaugural developer event, christened “OpenAI Devday,” slated for November 6th in San Francisco, Pacific Time.

While it will predominantly be an in-person affair, it will concurrently be broadcast live, thereby facilitating global developer participation.

Although the event’s nucleus will revolve around unveiling and previewing new tools, OpenAI’s CEO, Sam Altman, accentuated on his personal “X” portal that neither GPT-5 nor GPT-4.5 will be disclosed. The focus will principally orbit around extant applications of GPT-3.5 and GPT-4.

OpenAI’s suite of services, encompassing large-scale natural language models like GPT-4 and GPT-3.5, and artificial intelligence applications such as DALL-E and Whisper, continues to burgeon in user adoption. Concurrently, OpenAI is progressively tailoring artificial intelligence solutions for commercial and enterprise requisites, thereby broadening AI’s application spectrum and augmenting OpenAI’s revenue potential.
