Nvidia will officially end support for Kepler architecture GPUs on August 31
According to the previous Nvidia’s driver support roadmap document content for data center customers, it shows that Nvidia has planned to stop supporting Kepler architecture GPUs, that is, most GeForce 600/700 series graphics cards. In the upcoming R470 version driver branch will be the last version that supports GeForce 600/700 series graphics cards, including Quadro and Tesla series products that use the same architecture. In Nvidia’s view, we are about to say goodbye to Kepler architecture.
In view of the fact that most users of GeForce graphics cards have migrated to the Windows 10 operating system, in order to ensure the best security, features, and support, the focus has been placed on the Windows operating system.
