High-risk vulnerabilities in NVIDIA GeForce Experience, users need to upgrade immediately
NVIDIA just released a security bulletin to disclose two high-risk security vulnerabilities in the NVIDIA GeForce Experience (GFE). These vulnerabilities could allow potential local attackers to launch code execution attacks and denial of service attacks, while attackers can also exploit vulnerabilities to escalate permissions.
NVIDIA marked the vulnerability as a critical level in a security bulletin, which means that all users of the software should upgrade to the latest version immediately. Nvidia said that users should always use the latest version of the driver, the latest version helps automatically optimize the game configuration and mention the player’s gaming experience.

The above vulnerability has been fixed in GFE V3.19. Users can visit the NVIDIA official website to download the standalone GFE and install it manually. You can also upgrade your NVIDIA driver directly to the latest version. The latest version of the driver includes the latest GFE, which is the version that fixes the vulnerability.
In addition, Windows 10 will automatically download and upgrade drivers by default, and users such as Windows 7 should also manually download and upgrade to the latest version.
