Nothing Phone (2) will be officially launched this summer
It was recently revealed that the Nothing Phone (2) is set to launch within the year. Nothing has confirmed an official unveiling slated for the summer, showcasing a glimpse of the device’s back cover design.
However, Nothing has yet to disclose the complete design of the back cover, revealing only a few details, including a toggle switch-like feature and a blinking red light. Nonetheless, it is expected that the Nothing Phone (2) will incorporate an array of LED lights on its back cover to create distinctive lighting effects.
In a previous interview, Nothing CEO Carl Pei mentioned that, after considering extensive user feedback, the next iteration of the Nothing Phone (2) would feature a higher-performance processor. Moreover, the company has confirmed collaboration with Qualcomm to employ the Snapdragon 8 series processor.
During a recent interview with CNBC, Pei disclosed that negotiations with American telecommunications companies are underway, potentially leading to an entry into the US telecom market, although no further information has been confirmed.
Pei emphasized that Nothing is currently operating at a loss, but anticipates turning a profit by 2024. Despite significant cost expenditures resulting from exchange rate fluctuations in US dollar pricing, the company has managed to generate profits in markets priced in British pounds, euros, or Indian rupees.
