Asus partnered with radiator manufacturer Noctua last year to launch the
GeForce RTX 3070 Noctua version with Noctua cooling technology. When responding to whether the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Noctua version will be launched recently, Noctua
stated that its goal is to cooperate with Asus to develop more graphics cards.
Although Noctua did not disclose more information, it has hinted that there will be more ASUS Noctua graphics cards with Noctua cooling technology in the future, which may already be in development. The Noctua version of the graphics card currently launched by the two parties is based on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 series GPU, and it is not known whether it will be extended to AMD Radeon RX series graphics cards in the future, such as the upcoming Radeon RX 6×50 XT series. This year, the GeForce RTX 40 series based on the Ada (Lovelace) architecture and the Radeon RX 7000 series based on the RDNA 3 architecture will debut. Due to the short time interval, it is possible that Asus will wait until the next generation of graphics cards before continuing to launch the Noctua version.
Although the GeForce RTX 3070 Noctua version launched last year takes into account heat dissipation and quietness, and has good performance, due to its thickness of four slots and a high premium, many players are discouraged. Some players hope that ASUS and Noctua can make targeted designs according to the cooling characteristics of the graphics card, rather than simply moving the Noctua fan to the radiator.
