New File Explorer app on Windows 10 leaks

There is a screenshot in the Microsoft Edge blog published by Microsoft yesterday night. This screenshot is the UWP version of the file explorer that Microsoft is designing.

We previously mentioned that the Windows 10 system has built-in UWP Explorer, but the development has not been completed, so it is very tasteless in terms of functions.

At present, everyone is looking forward to the new file explorer version developed by Microsoft based on Microsoft’s Fluent Design System, but for now, the release time of this new version is undetermined.

In the blog, Microsoft engineers seem to be using the Windows 10 engineering version, and the built-in file explorer in this version has a new style compared to before.

You can see that the folder arrangement on the left is significantly different from the previous version, and Microsoft seems to have designed a new default icon for office documents that looks very distinctive.
