MSI releases RTX 4090 SUPRIM X CLASSIC 24G

MSI announced the launch of the GeForce RTX 4090 SUPRIM X CLASSIC 24G. This is a new product of its SUPRIM series, but there is nothing special about the design. It adopts an older heat dissipation design, which is the same as the previous RTX 3090 Ti product. Maybe some players prefer this shape design.

MSI released the GeForce RTX 4090 SUPRIM X 24G which adopts Tri Frozr 3S cooling system and Torx Fan 5.0 technology, equipped with a vapor chamber. In contrast, the GeForce RTX 4090 SUPRIM X CLASSIC 24G this time uses the Tri Frozr 2S cooling system and Torx Fan 4.0 technology without a vapor chamber. The back panel of the new graphics card also bears the previous “GeForce RTX” words, as well as MSI’s dragon logo.

GeForce RTX 4090 SUPRIM X CLASSIC 24G is lighter than GeForce RTX 4090 SUPRIM X 24G, reduced from 2.4kg to 2.16kg, and not so thick, reduced from 78mm to 71mm, but the length and height are basically the same. In terms of performance, the two graphics cards should be the same, with a maximum acceleration frequency of 2640MHz (which needs to be implemented using MSI Center software). The new graphics card consumes 450W in Silent mode and 480W in Gaming mode.
