MSI launches MAG 27C6X gaming monitor
MSI has announced the launch of the MAG 27C6X gaming monitor, a product designed to provide gamers with the competitive edge needed to dominate virtual battlefields. The MAG series draws inspiration from robust and reliable design, conveying not only performance but also the essence of MSI’s resilient MAG style.
The MAG 27C6X features a 27-inch VA panel with a curvature of 1500R and 10-bit color depth (8bit + FRC), offering wide viewing angles of 178 degrees both horizontally and vertically. The display has a 16:9 aspect ratio, a resolution of 1920 x 1080, a motion picture response time (MPRT) of 1ms, and an overclockable refresh rate of 250Hz. Typical brightness is rated at 250 nits, with a standard contrast ratio of 3000:1. It covers 80% of the Adobe RGB color spectrum, 77% of the DCI-P3, and 99% of the sRGB, all while incorporating anti-glare treatment.
Flicker-free technology enhances viewing comfort by reducing flicker, and the monitor is certified by TUV Rheinland, optimized to emit less blue light, thereby reducing eye fatigue during extended gaming sessions. Thanks to Adaptive Sync technology, it eliminates screen tearing and stuttering, ensuring smoother visual performance. The monitor supports a console mode, which activates VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) and HDMI CEC control functions when connected via HDMI. Additionally, it includes AI-driven image enhancement features that boost overall brightness and saturation.
In terms of connectivity, the monitor is equipped with one DisplayPort 1.2a, two HDMI 2.0b ports, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also supports 100 x 100 mm VESA mount specifications, facilitating the use of articulated mounting arms for gamers.
