Microsoft will stop supporting Windows 10 v1909 on May 11
According to the product life cycle announcement released by Microsoft, the company will stop supporting Windows 10 v1909 as planned on May 11, 2021.
In fact, there are many products that have been discontinued at this time, including all versions of Windows 10 v1809 except for the LTS version.
Due to the different support cycles of the Home Edition, Professional Edition, Enterprise Edition, Education Edition, Workstation, and Server Edition corresponding to each version, the stop time is slightly different.
However, Microsoft reminds everyone who is still using the old version: You must upgrade to the new version before ending support, otherwise you will not be able to get security updates and affect your security.
Microsoft is scheduled to stop supporting the Windows 10 v1909 series of Home Edition, Professional Edition, Professional Edition-based Workstation Edition Education Edition on May 11, 2021.
The unmentioned versions include the Enterprise Edition and the Education Edition based on the Enterprise Edition. The above-mentioned versions usually have an additional support period and therefore will not be the end of support for the time being.
All versions except the Enterprise Edition and Enterprise Education Edition need to be upgraded. Otherwise, they will not receive any security updates after the final security update is obtained on May 11.
