Microsoft says Windows 11 upgrades are growing twice as fast as Windows 10

In this Computex 2022, Microsoft explained that PCs play a more important role in the post-epidemic era of mixed work and new normal life. At the same time, it also shows that the Windows operating system used by more than 1.4 billion people so far. The current number of users of Windows 11 for mixed work and other types of work has grown at twice the upgrade speed of Windows 10.

The energy [at Microsoft] is palpable, again, from a data standpoint. You know, people are accepting the upgrade offer to Windows 11 at twice the rate we saw for Windows 10 and Windows 10 had that great moment,” Panos stated in a conversation with Nicole Dezen, CVP of Device Partner Sales at Microsoft.

Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25120

Since its official launch in October last year, Windows 11 has become Microsoft’s main promotion operating system, and it also allows existing Windows 10 operating system users to upgrade for free. In addition, many new machines are pre-installed with the Windows 11 operating system, making the overall speed faster than the original upgrade from Windows 7 and Windows 8 to Windows 10, almost twice as high.

In addition to integrating the hybrid lifestyle into the Windows 11 design concept, Microsoft has also deployed the Cloud PC market through Windows 365 services which allow users to use the Windows operating system through any device and even help enterprises to simplify a large number of PC deployment problems, while also reducing costs and improving the flexibility of PC use.

In addition, Microsoft also emphasized that Windows 11 is the most secure Windows operating system ever. Designed with security as the foundation, it provides a complete security protection mechanism from firmware, and software to hardware, from booting up, logging in to accounts, and applications used every day.

Windows 11 is still available for free upgrades, and Microsoft also appeals to enterprise users who are currently using Windows 10 to speed up their upgrades.
