Microsoft releases new logo for Skype

Microsoft Skype has changed design styles several times in the past, and Microsoft officially announced the latest version of the Skype logo today. With the new Skype logo, Microsoft has made subtle changes to Skype.

The new logo is part of the Office 365 service icon upgrade program. Microsoft at the time of writing the article about the new logo said: “Carefully crafted designs that honor heritage and welcome the future.”

When the new logo was announced, the Skype team mentioned that their vision for service remains: connecting you to the most important people in your life and work.
