Microsoft is killing Internet Explorer browser

Microsoft is currently plotting to force the retirement of the IE browser, and the method is to redirect many well-known websites to force users to install the Microsoft Edge browser.

That is, when users use the IE browser to open these well-known websites, they will automatically jump to the Microsoft page, in which Microsoft said that these websites no longer support the browser.

What is shocking is that originally these websites will pop up messages and prompt users to change the supported browser, but now Microsoft seems to be redirecting these websites directly.

It was discovered that Microsoft Edge 84 version started this behavior, but it has not yet been activated so users will not notice the prompt for the time being.

Microsoft plans to activate this feature by default in Microsoft Edge 87 version and does not seem to provide an option after activation so that users can actively turn off it.

Many well-known websites such as Yahoo, YouTube, Twitter, INS, StackOverflow, GoDaddy, VK, etc. are added to the list. When users use Internet Explorer to load these websites, they will be kidnapped to the transfer page, where Microsoft prompts the user to install the Microsoft Edge browser.

At present, most websites no longer support IE browser access, even the latest version of IE 11 browser has been abandoned by many websites due to functions and other issues.

It is also true that most websites will directly pop up prompts when they are accessed using the IE browser, in which the website will ask the user to use a supported modern browser. However, this behavior of Microsoft is obviously unreasonable.
