Microsoft is improving the Windows 10 UWP version of File Explorer
As early as the Windows 10 Creator update, Microsoft has built a UWP version of the file explorer in the system, but Microsoft has not publicly stated it.
The reason is naturally that the UWP version of the file explorer has not yet been developed, and the initial release is for Windows 10 mobile devices. The UWP version of File Explorer has been greatly improved in the Windows 10 beta released by Microsoft today. These improvements are mainly functional.

Earlier we mentioned that the UWP file explorer had not been made public, including the current lack of functionality or even the needs of daily use. For example, the most commonly used feature of copy and paste has not been supported in previous versions until the latest beta version of Windows 10 completes this feature.
According to the video released by Windows Central, we can see that the current UWP Explorer has moved the menu bar to the top for smooth operation. At the same time, the necessary copying, pasting and cutting functions have been supported, and the right-click menu has gradually become rich and suitable for lightweight daily use.
This time also added the image as a wallpaper function, which is similar to the traditional version of the resource manager right click on the image to set it as a wallpaper. As for the official version of Windows 10 Version 1809 released in October, Microsoft will not open the UWP version of the file explorer is still a problem.
