Microsoft announced the establishment of data centers in New Zealand and Poland

According to Microsoft’s official news center, the company’s cloud computing platform will establish new data centers in Poland in Eastern Europe and New Zealand in Oceania.

These standard data centers accelerate the digital transformation of local businesses, while also accelerating content processing speed and optimizing user access.

Microsoft said the new data center will provide multiple enterprise-level cloud services such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Dynamics 365.

Microsoft and Poland reached a strategic partnership and launched an investment plan of 1 billion US dollars to Poland, which includes the establishment of a standard data center.

Through cloud services to support Polish start-ups, businesses, and governments, Microsoft has also signed contracts with local technology companies to provide cloud solutions for Polish companies.

The Polish Prime Minister said that the investment plan of Microsoft is crucial for Polish enterprises, public institutions, and education systems, and will help digital transformation and innovation.

Microsoft hopes to use this investment to improve the digital capabilities of 150,000 business employees, IT professionals, educators, and students in Poland to support digital transformation.

At the same time, Microsoft initiated vocational skills development projects including training, e-learning programs, hackathons, artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data, and the Internet of Things.

Microsoft hopes to improve the digital transformation of Polish government agencies and enterprises through these projects, and at the same time pave the way for the compliant storage of enterprise data in advance.

Similar to investing in Poland, Microsoft’s investment plan in New Zealand also includes the construction of a new data center, as well as local education skills, support programs to increase employment opportunities.

The establishment of a data center in New Zealand to develop cloud computing services is also to accelerate New Zealand’s digital transformation, including enterprises, government agencies, and educational institutions.
