Electronic technology products have always been sold at a lower price every year. Even though the graphics card has experienced an unusual period of price increases, now it is gradually returning to normal. Meta’s all-in-one VR headset Quest 2, two years after its launch, has seen a price hike of $100, and this is Meta’s official price increase.
Meta said in its latest announcement that the base version of the Quest 2 headset will be priced from $299 to $399, and the high-end version will also add $100 to $499. Even if the newly sold machine comes bundled with a Beat Saber VR game, that’s a bummer because it doesn’t have any feature upgrades and updates, and it’s still selling a 2020 product. What’s interesting is that when Oculus 2 was launched, it still used the Oculus brand, and the parent company name was even Facebook.
