Lenovo joins hands with sports car brand Aston Martin to create a new ThinkStation workstation
Lenovo has announced a collaboration with the British luxury sports car brand Aston Martin to launch jointly designed workstations, including the ThinkStation PX and the ThinkStation P7 and P5, which feature the distinctive hexagonal three-dimensional mesh grille of the Aston Martin DBS model, along with the classic little red dot design of the Think series models.
The newly launched ThinkStation PX can use up to 2 sets of Intel fourth-generation Xeon scalable server processors, up to 4 NVIDIA RTX 6000 series graphics cards, and up to 2TB of memory capacity. It also comes with front-loading hard drives that support hot-swapping and a power supply of up to 1850W. It uses a 5U rack design, allowing more workstations to fit inside a standard cabinet.
The ThinkStation P7 adopts a 4U size design, and it supports up to 56 core designs of Xeon W-3400 server processors, up to 3 NVIDIA RTX 6000 series graphics cards, and up to 1TB of memory. As for the ThinkStation P5, it adopts a desktop-like design and supports up to 24 core designs of Xeon W series server processors, up to 2 NVIDIA RTX 6000 Ada graphics cards, and up to 512GB of memory.
In addition, the workstations in this series not only feature the hexagonal three-dimensional mesh grille and the classic little red dot design of the Think series models but also come with hidden side handles on the chassis and an LCD screen on the front that displays a QR code, enabling users to quickly view error information.
