Leak: the Exynos 990 is NOT Samsung’s flagship SoC for 2020

Recently, XDA editor Max Weinbach found that Samsung added support for Exynos 9830 and Snapdragon 865 in the Galaxy S10 One UI 2.0 Beta. The above chips will be seen on the Galaxy S11.

Max Weinbach found that the US version of the Galaxy S11 is the SM-G981U, SM-G986U, and SM-G988U, which are likely to support 5G networks.

Not surprisingly, Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 will be unveiled at the end of this year. It will be the standard for the 2020 Android flagship, and the Galaxy S11 will also use this chip. According to previous exposure to the information, Snapdragon 865 will support LPDDR5 memory. As for Samsung, according to the usual practice, the Samsung Galaxy S11 will offer two options, Exynos 9830 and Snapdragon 865, and will support 5G networks. It is still uncertain whether the 4G version will be launched.
