Leak: OnePlus 8 Pro supports dual-mode 5G connectivity
According to the information exposed on the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) website in China, we can know some details of OnePlus’ next flagship smartphone. For example, it supports 5G dual-mode connectivity and multiple frequency bands, including n1, n41, n78, and n79. In short, OnePlus 8 Pro will support a wide range of 5G connections. In addition, it can be seen from the renderings that the machine may use a punching screen similar to Samsung Galaxy S10 and Note 10 for the front camera.
In terms of screen, OnePlus 8 Pro will continue the curved-edge design but increased to 6.65 inches. In comparison, the OnePlus 8 model is only 6.5 inches.
In terms of taking pictures, it may use a rear-mounted four-camera arranged vertically. It is also expected to integrate a 3D ToF, which can be used for applications such as 3D mapping, 3D photography, AR, portrait mode images, etc.
Other specifications include a microphone opening on the top edge, a redesigned speaker grille on the bottom (on both sides), a USB Type-C port, and a size of 165.3 × 74.4 × 8.8 mm.
