Intel won’t increase Raptor Lake Refresh price

Last month, Intel unveiled its 14th generation Core desktop processors, dubbed Raptor Lake Refresh, at the “Intel Innovation” summit held in San Jose, California.

HD Technologia released Intel’s presentation slides, wherein promotional materials disclosed detailed information about the initial six K/KF suffixed products. This includes the Core i9-14900K/KF, Core i7-14700K/KF, and Core i5-14600K/KF, as well as their respective pricing structures.

Contrasted with the 13th generation Core counterparts, the Core i7-14700K/KF underwent the most significant transformation. Its core configuration shifted from 8P+8E to 8P+12E, and its L3 cache expanded from 30MB to 33MB. Meanwhile, the variations in the Core i9-14900K/KF and Core i5-14600K/KF remained relatively modest. The core and thread counts mirror their predecessors, albeit with a slight frequency boost. As for the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP), the Core i9-14900K/KF is pegged at $589/$564, the Core i7-14700K/KF at $409/$384, and the Core i5-14600K/KF stands at $319/$294.
