Intel will maintain a minimal staff presence at CES 2022
CES 2022 will be held in early January next year. In addition to online activities, there will also be offline exhibitions in Las Vegas. However, with the recent severe situation of the coronavirus epidemic, more and more brands choose not to participate in offline exhibitions. Previously, T-Mobile, Lenovo, Amazon, AT&T, Google, and General Motors have made the same decision.
As a giant in the industry, Intel has always attached great importance to the CES exhibition and often chooses to release and display new products at the CES exhibition. According to plan, Intel will have a variety of new consumer products at CES 2022, including a series of 12th-generation Core series processors for desktop and mobile platforms, H670/B660/H610 chipsets, and Xe-HPG architecture ARC Alchemist graphics card, etc. Compared with online exhibitions, offline exhibitions allow everyone to get closer to new products so that they can understand them more quickly.
However, Intel has informed TomsHardware that for the health and safety of its employees, partners, and customers, after consulting with health officials, it plans to prioritize the activities at CES 2022 in digital presentation, and offline exhibitions will be canceled. Intel said that the number of staff participating in the CES 2022 exhibition will be greatly reduced, and only the most basic support team will be retained on site, which will minimize the number of staff.
At present, the CES organizers force on-site participants to complete vaccination, and recommend a coronavirus test, and at the same time provide a rapid test area on the spot.
