Intel may increase the pricing of 12th-generation Core desktop processors

According to Tom’s Hardware, Intel has increased the pricing of the 12th-generation Core desktop processors in its online Ark product database, generally by 10%, and even some 12th-generation Core processors are priced higher than the 13th-generation Core processors. Tom’s Hardware expects that the 13th generation Core will soon follow suit with price increases.

In fact, as early as the first quarter of 2022, Intel announced that it would increase chip pricing, but did not disclose more details at the time, subsequently, after a loss of US$500 million in the second quarter of 2022, Intel reiterated the information that it will provide chip pricing in its earnings conference call in June.

In addition to the possible price increase of the 12th-generation Core desktop processor, the motherboard of the B760 chipset also reported a price increase. Not long ago, it was reported that compared with the existing B660 motherboard, the listing price of the new B760 motherboard may be higher.
