Intel Launches Distributed Deep Learning Platform with Kubernetes: Nauta
With the development of artificial intelligence, the value of deep learning continues to grow, but implementing it can be a complex and time-consuming process. Intel is looking to change this situation with its new open source platform for distributed deep learning with Kubernetes, called Nauta. It is available on Github.
Intel wrote, “Nauta is an enterprise-grade stack for teams who need to run DL workloads to train models that will be deployed in production. With Nauta, users can define and schedule containerized deep learning experiments using Kubernetes on single or multiple worker nodes, and check the status and results of those experiments to further adjust and run additional experiments, or prepare the trained model for deployment.”
Nauta enables users to take advantage of experienced machine learning developer best practices without sacrificing flexibility. “Nauta runs using the industry leading Kubernetes* and Docker* platform for scalability and ease of management. Template packs for various DL frameworks and tooling are available (and customizable) on the platform to take the complexities out of creating and running single and multi-node deep learning training experiments without all the systems overhead and scripting needed with standard container environments.”
