Intel is expected to release the 12th-generation Core processor Alder Lake-S at the event at the end of October. It is expected that it will be officially launched in mid-November, and the board manufacturer will also launch a Z690 motherboard that matches it. There should be both DDR5 and DDR4 boards.
At present, Core i9-12900K has appeared in Ashes of the Singularity benchmark, of course, there is no new processor specification-related information, and it has even been identified as 24 cores and 24 threads. The device is equipped with an RTX 3080 graphics card with 64GB threads.
In fact, there are many Core i9-12900K results in the database of Ashes of the Singularity. If you set the filter to 1080p high quality, and with RTX 3080 graphics card, you can see some useful comparison results. The average frame rate of Core i9-12900K under this setting is about 143fps, while the average frame rate of the current Core i7-11700KF processor is only 103fps, and the current Core i7-11700KF processor ran out of an average frame rate of only 103fps, and the Core i9-11900K is actually not much better than it. So Core i9-12900K should be a big improvement in gaming than Core i9-11900K.
