Intel previously unveiled a roadmap for a range of products at its 2022 investor conference. In the consumer market,
Raptor Lake will be launched this year to replace the existing Alder Lake. In 2023 and 2024, Meteor lake and Arrow Lake, two products packaged with 3D Foveros, will be launched respectively.
According to
AdoredTV, Intel’s Arrow Lake-P will be equipped with 6 Performance Cores and 8 Efficient Cores, as well as the 320 EUs, the graphics performance will be greatly improved.
However, some people have doubts about it. With the core configuration of Intel’s future generations of products, specifications such as 6+8 seem to be a bit too low, although according to the plan, Intel currently uses “S” suffix chips for the highest performance gear on notebook platforms.
The leaked PPT shows that the Arrow Lake-P platform, code-named “Halo”, is aimed at Apple’s 14-inch laptops and is likely to be part of the EVO platform. Intel Arrow Lake-P will use a modular design, where the computing modules are manufactured using the Intel 20A process. Intel mentioned that TSMC’s N3 process is required, which means that SOC-LP modules (responsible for I/O) and GPU modules may still be produced by TSMC.
It is said that Arrow Lake-P for notebook platforms has a higher priority than Arrow Lake-S for desktop platforms, which will use the same base as Meteor Lake-S, and Arrow Lake will debut as the 15th generation Core series.
