Google will shut down the Inbox mail app in March 2019
Four years ago, Google launched an innovative email app in parallel with Gmail, which is Inbox. However, Google will shut down the Inbox mail app in March 2019. Although we are not surprised by this, Inbox has brought us a lot of new ideas, has been sought after by a small number of users and offers a slightly different good email experience.
Over the past 4 years you’ve helped us make email better. We’ve brought popular Inbox features to @Gmail helping 1B+ people get more done. Thank you.
We’ll be focusing on Gmail & saying bye to Inbox at the end of March 2019. Here’s a transition guide → https://t.co/6dOxgExpbm

There are many well-loved features in the Inbox, but this is mainly due to the lack of specific third-party solutions for Gmail. Inbox provides a way to manage e-mail bombings with gestures, allowing people to process mail on the go quickly. It’s also widely used as a new feature incubator for Gmail, but in fact, Inbox doesn’t have enough updates to prove its reputation as a test site—even if it does a great job of integrating tasks with E-mail.
