Google Chrome adds “Move Tab to New Window” entry to the tab context menu

Although Google Chrome is already the browser with the highest share in the desktop browser market, the development team is still active in terms of feature changes.

Although there is no guarantee of a full response to the functions that the user wishes to add, most will still be accepted, such as the newly added “Move Tab to New Window” function.

Move Tab to New Window is a feature that Microsoft Edge browser already supports, and some users hope that Google Chrome will add the same feature.

This feature has been added and started testing in the Google Chrome Canary, and it is expected that it will take about two months to change to the official channel.

If you need to move a tab to a new window, the simplest way is to hold the tab with the left mouse button and drag down to achieve window separation.

Similarly, if you need to merge windows, you only need to left-click the tab of a window, and then drag and drop it to the tab bar of another window.

The new feature added this time is to place the option to move to a new window in the right-click option of the tab. When this option is clicked, the tab will automatically generate a new window.
