Gigabyte to launch the Radeon RX 6900 XT AORUS Xtreme Waterforce WB

Sapphire, PowerColor, and ASRock have successively released products that use the specially selected Navi 21 XTXH core, constantly refreshing the core frequency. Like Sapphire’s Radeon RX 6900 XT Toxic Extreme Edition, the factory-set frequency reaches an astonishing 2730MHz. According to VideoCardz reports, Gigabyte will soon join the ranks, preparing to launch the Radeon RX 6900 XT AORUS Xtreme Waterforce WB, which is likely to be the first AMD Radeon graphics card to use the AORUS Xtreme brand.

GIGABYTE may provide three models on the AORUS WateForce series, with different heat dissipation designs. The WB suffix means that the water block is pre-installed, but it is not designed with integrated water cooling or air cooling. To purchase this graphics card, you need to prepare related accessories for installation, which will increase the installation cost, but most users who buy this graphics card will obviously be ready.

Radeon RX 6900 XT AORUS Xtreme Waterforce WB uses a copper water block and uses a nickel plating process. It also supports Gigabyte’s liquid leak detection function and is equipped with RGB lighting effects. Users can use RGB Fusion 2.0 software to control.

As the flagship model of RDNA 2 architecture, this graphics card adopts a fully customized design, dual-slot specifications, and is equipped with three 8 Pin external power ports. In terms of display output, dual HDMI 2.1 interfaces and dual DisplayPort 1.4 interfaces are configured, and USB Type-C interfaces are not used.

Gigabyte did not disclose the specific core frequency, referring to similar products from other manufacturers, the factory frequency will be 10% or higher than the public version. It is unclear when Gigabyte’s graphics card will be released and the specific price.
