GIGABYTE Launches AORUS RTX 4090 Gaming Box

Gigabyte has announced the launch of the new AORUS RTX 4090 Gaming Box, equipped with the GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card based on the Ada Lovelace architecture and a high-speed Thunderbolt 3 transfer interface. This gaming box bestows ultra-books with unparalleled 3D computing prowess, transmuting them into a gaming platform replete with full ray tracing capabilities. It thus stands as a steadfast ally for creators, proffering an unprecedented work efficiency experience.

Gigabyte asserts that the AORUS WATERFORCE cooling system is the sole solution that harmoniously amalgamates performance and comfort, allowing users to luxuriate in a tranquil environment while grappling with demanding tasks. The AORUS RTX 4090 Gaming Box, on the other hand, is currently the most advanced external graphics card expansion dock on the market, occupying minimal desk space, rendering it the ideal companion for ultra-books.

The RTX 4090 AORUS Gaming Box boasts a custom design featuring RGB lighting effects and a comprehensive liquid cooling cycle system. In addition to the GPU chip, it also covers the video memory and MOSFET, equipped with two 120mm fans and a 240mm aluminum cold row. An integrated power supply is also present. In theory, users would only require three cables for regular operation: a power cable, a DisplayPort or HDMI cable, and a Thunderbolt cable offering a maximum bandwidth of 40 Gbps.

This GPU provides four display outputs. Much like conventional graphics cards, it has three DisplayPort ports and one HDMI port. Besides augmenting graphic performance, it also offers additional interfaces, including a front-facing USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C port, two rear-facing USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports, and an Ethernet port, supporting PD 3.0 quick charge. Compared to the previous generation, one HDMI port has been reduced, and the front-facing USB port has been changed from Type-A to Type-C.
