Galaxy S9 has been removed from Samsung Security Updates list

The Galaxy S9 series is Samsung’s flagship model released in 2018. In the past four years, the series has been following Samsung‘s official system updates. It is understood that after the security update for the Galaxy S9 series in March 2022, Samsung has removed the Galaxy S9 series from the support list, which also means that it will no longer receive official support from April.

Before April, the Galaxy S9 series was the oldest flagship series on Samsung’s update list, offering both the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. Galaxy S9 provides a storage combination of 4GB+64GB, and Galaxy S9+ provides a storage combination of 6+64GB. It is equipped with the flagship processor at that time – Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, and the screen is an AMOLED curved screen that supports 2K resolution. The Galaxy S9 has a screen size of 5.8 inches and the Galaxy S9+ has a size of 6.2 inches.
