G.Skill Officially Released Zeta R5 Series Overclocked DDR5 R-DIMM Memory Kits
G.Skill has announced the release of their Zeta R5 series overclocked DDR5 R-DIMM memory, specifically designed for Intel’s latest Xeon W-3400 and W-2400 series processors, as well as the W790 high-end motherboard, with four and eight-channel kits available.
The X-suffix models of the Intel Xeon W-3400/2400 series processors support overclocking, which can be understood as the successor to the previous HEDT platform Core-X models. G.Skill’s first batch of Zeta R5 series overclocked DDR5 R-DIMM memory products will have the highest specification of an eight-channel kit (8x16GB), which can be overclocked to 6400 MT/s directly, with timings of CL32-39-39-102 and support for Intel XMP 3.0 technology.
G.Skill says that the Zeta R5 series will also introduce higher frequency DDR5-6800 CL34 128GB (8x16GB) kits, with timings of CL34-45-45-108, and larger capacity DDR5-6000 CL30 256GB (8x32GB) kits to meet the high-load demands of high-end users, professional content creators, 3D graphics rendering, and scientific computing on workstation platforms.
G.Skill demonstrated the performance of their DDR5-6400 CL32 128GB (8x16GB) kit paired with an Intel Xeon W9-3495X processor and ASUS Pro WS W790E-SAGE SE motherboard, achieving 303GB/s read speed, 227GB/s write speed and 257GB/s copy speed in AIDA64 testing.
Furthermore, G.Skill also demonstrated the results of their DDR5-6800 CL34 128GB (8x16GB) kit, indicating that verification has been completed. With an Intel Xeon W9-3495X processor and ASUS Pro WS W790E-SAGE SE motherboard, read speed reached 315GB/s, write speed reached 228GB/s, and copy speed reached 262GB/s.
