GALAX launches DDR5-8000 HOF Pro
Recently, GALAX released their high-end HOF PRO DDR5 memory series, featuring a white PCB with a new aluminum alloy vest, a metal electrophoresis white process, and a metal sandblasting process on the side logo section. Equipped with RGB lighting effects, the HOF PRO DDR5 memory series not only looks good but also has better heat dissipation.
The overall dimensions of the HOF PRO DDR5 memory series are 133 x 48 x 8 mm, with SK Hynix A-Die, a 10-layer PCB, and support for Intel XMP 3.0 technology. It provides three frequencies of 6800MHz, 7200MHz, and 8000MHz, all in 16GB x2 kits with corresponding timings of CL36-36-46-116, CL36-46-46-122, and CL36-48-48-128, and operating voltages of 1.45V, 1.5V, and 1.5V, respectively. Additionally, the HOF PRO DDR5 memory series has controllable RGB lighting and supports the motherboard manufacturer’s lighting control software adjustments.
However, GALAX only retains the white PCB for the 6800MHz and 7200MHz specifications, while the 8000MHz specification has a black PCB. Currently, HOF PRO DDR5-7200/8000 memory has landed on e-commerce platforms.
According to GALAX’s official statement, in actual machine testing, the read/write speed of HOF PRO DDR5-8000 memory has exceeded 120GB/s, with a latency of only 56.4ns.
