Forza Horizon 5 configuration requirements announced, hard drive space at least 110GB

At E3 2021 this year, “Forza Horizon 5” was rated as the most anticipated game. Recently, Xbox Game Studios announced the configuration requirements for Forza Horizon 5. The game will be released on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms on November 5th, and will also be available through Xbox Game Pass, and will be available on Steam for the first time.

According to the official configuration requirements, a quad-core four-thread processor (AMD Ryzen 3 1200/Intel Core i5-4460) is the basic requirement, and the minimum graphics card requirements for NVIDIA and AMD are GeForce GTX 970 and Radeon RX 470, with at least 4GB of video memory and 8GB of RAM. In the recommended configuration, the processor requirement is increased to four cores and eight threads (AMD Ryzen 5 1500X) or six cores and six threads (Intel Core i5-8400). The graphics card requires GeForce GTX 1070 and Radeon RX 590, and the video memory and memory are increased to 8GB and 16GB respectively. In the ideal spec configuration, the processor is unified with eight cores and sixteen threads (AMD Ryzen 7 3800X/Intel Core i7-10700K), and the graphics cards are GeForce RTX 3080 and Radeon RX 6800 XT.


In addition, the hard disk space requirement has reached 110GB. Previously, “Battlefield 2042” also reached 100GB. The new generation of games is generally larger in size.

Forza Horizon 5 supports 21:9 ultra-wide display and haptic feedback from Xbox controllers and supports Logitech, Thrustmaster, and Fanatec steering wheels.

“Forza Horizon 5” also supports ray tracing. The team said it not only provides realistic reflections for hundreds of models but also accurately maps how car sounds bounce between different environments, enhancing the audio effect
