Developer guides how to Flash Windows 10 on ARM on Lumia 950 XL

With the unremitting efforts of many developers and communities, the LumiaWOA project which is making Windows 10 on ARM on Lumia 950 XL, is making new progress again. The project now offers downloadable firmware and detailed brushing guides that can be easily swiped like other brushing programs with the WPinternals tool.

If you are still using the Lumia 950 XL, it is recommended to back up your data as this will replace the existing Windows 10 Mobile system.

FFU firmwares provided here contain a pre-deployed Windows 10 on ARM installation that will land directly into the Windows 10 Out-Of-Box experience after flashing.

Those FFU firmwares are ready to go and require no further action from your end to get Windows 10 working on your device.

Images provided here only contain the latest Windows 10 on ARM Insider Fast build in English (United States). You are free to install language packs afterwards in Windows.

Those images do not contain Windows 10 Mobile, flashing them will remove Windows 10 Mobile from your device, please make backups of your data in any case.

Those FFU firmwares contain a Windows 10 Installation using the entire 32GB eMMC space. The Windows 10 Installation has been applied using the Compact dism option, so you get 25GB of free space in Windows.

Please take a moment to read the flashing instructions before flashing those FFU firmwares onto your device, as those FFU firmwares require a special step to ensure that Windows 10 works properly on your device.
