Firefox browser may integrate functions of Tor to create a Super Private Browsing mode

The mid-year report released by Mozilla shows that the Mozilla hopes to integrate some of the functions of Tor into the Firefox browser to ensure privacy. The goal of the Mozilla is to build a super private browsing mode for the Firefox browser. The basic starting point is that users can hide as they wish. In the mid-year report, the Mozilla also mentioned that the Mozilla will help the Tor Project Team to provide funding to address some of the current inefficiencies. Of course, the return on funding is to be able to integrate some of the onion routing protocols with Firefox to enable optimal deployment of these protocols.

Firefox will disable all legacy add-ons

The Tor itself is built on the long-term support version of the Firefox browser, so the difficulty of the fusion between the two sides should not be too large. Mozilla even said that the current team has begun to study alternative protocol frameworks and routing protocols, such as the Tor-Over-QUIC transport protocol. The Firefox browser team will upgrade the Tor browser patch to the Firefox browser mainline process, which will, of course, provide an additional routing protocol.

Last year, Firefox was the first to offer hierarchical ad tracking and blocking settings, allowing users to block the tracking technology used by third-party websites.
