Fedora 30 officially released: GNOME 3.32 & Linux Kernel 5.0

The Fedora project team released the Fedora 30 today. Fedora 30 is equipped with the latest GNOME 3.32 desktop environment, Linux Kernel 5.0, and performance optimization for DNF installation package manager. GNOME 3.32 features an updated visual style, including the user interface, the icons, and the desktop itself.

Fedora 30 also offers two new desktop environment options for those who want to customize the Fedora desktop experience. In addition to the existing KDE Plasma, GNOME, Xfce, LXDE, LXQt, Cinnamon, MATE, and SoaS desktop environments, the Fedora 30 release adds the Deepin Desktop Environment and the Pantheon Desktop desktop environment.

Fedora 30 brings a lot of updates to many core components including GNU C library, Bash shell, Python, Perl, Golang.
