Elden Ring DLC may be displayed at TGA 2023

At the illustrious TGA 2022 Awards Ceremony, “Elden Ring” unyieldingly and with unparalleled prowess clinched the coveted title of Game of the Year. Its dominance was further underscored by its acquisition of three other esteemed accolades, namely Best Role-Playing Game, Best Game Direction, and Best Art Direction, thereby establishing itself as the most triumphant gaming opus of the past year.

Earlier in March, officials had already proclaimed the development of the inaugural DLC for “Elden Ring” titled “Shadow of the Erdtree.” As reported by Wccftech, uncorroborated sources have hinted that the aforementioned DLC will be showcased at TGA 2023 on December 7, with a slated release on February 5, 2024.

In prior financial disclosures, FromSoftware’s parent conglomerate, Kadokawa Group, asserted that following the launch of “Armored Core VI” they would expedite the development of the “Elden Ring” DLC, aiming for its release in the fiscal year 2024. The European head of Bandai Namco, the game’s publisher, during an interview, conveyed that the DLC’s advent was imminent and that players would not be subjected to a protracted wait. Marrying these revelations with the recent leaks, the timelines appear congruous.

“Elden Ring” is an opulent dark fantasy open-world role-playing action game, conceived and brought to life by From Software and disseminated by Bandai Namco. The creative luminary behind this masterpiece, Hidetaka Miyazaki, unveiled it to the world on February 25, 2022.
