Diablo IV is the fastest selling Blizzard game of all-time

Blizzard’s “Diablo IV” commenced its early access phase for players who purchased the premium version on June 1st, before officially opening to standard edition players on June 6th. According to Blizzard and the “Diablo” series’ Twitter accounts, “Diablo IV” has now become the fastest-selling game in Blizzard’s history.

Rod Fergusson, the producer of the “Diablo” series, expressed his pride in the achievements of “Diablo IV” and its game development team via Twitter. He also extended his gratitude to all the players, noting that the release represents merely the inception of “Diablo IV”.

Based on Blizzard’s data, during the prior four-day early access period, the cumulative playtime of all players for “Diablo IV” has already exceeded 9.3 million hours or over 1,000 years. This equates to a single player needing to game from the dawn of human civilization to the present, uninterrupted for 24 hours a day, testament to the tremendous allure the name “Diablo” holds for gamers.

“Diablo IV” is now officially available on Windows PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 platforms, supporting cross-platform play and save files. It comes in three editions: the standard edition priced at $69.99, the premium version at $89.99, and the ultimate edition at $99.99.
